General Guidelines for Manuscripts
The preparation and writing of manuscripts in this Journal refer to the following guidelines:
Manuscript Format Details
Manuscript title: The article's title must be clear, firm, and informative, containing the main issues of the research and the theoretical perspective used. The title does not use words and terms that are multi-interpretable or common, avoids repeating words or terms, and does not contain unpopular abbreviations. The article title consists of a maximum of 14 words, written in a font size 14, with capital letters at the beginning with a bold model.
Abstract: The abstract contains a brief description of the substantive parts of the research, which include the background of the problem, focus of the study, research objectives, problem formulation, methodological explanation, theoretical perspective, research findings, and recommendations. The abstract is concisely presented in as many as 150-250 words without omitting substantive parts. Using the same font, font size 10, spacing 1. The abstract is presented in two languages, Indonesian and English. The English version of the abstract is presented in italics. Abstract keywords between 3 to 5 words, containing the main or important terms of the research.
Introduction: This section describes a series of social issues that are the background of the research problem. The research issues in question can be social facts, such as phenomena in the field, and literature facts, such as information, news, and the like. The introduction is presented systematically and structured by paying attention to the background of the research problem, the clarity and clarity of the research issue, previous studies regarding the results of previous studies, and aspects of research novelty that contain special elements that differentiate it from previous studies. In addition, it also contains the significance of the research, including aspects of urgency and its attractiveness. Finally, the scientific argumentation contains the research hypothesis or proposition. The scientific argumentation in this section should be presented in a short and simple structure and writing style, but still focusing on the main issue or problem of the research (problem research).
Methods: This section contains specific information explaining several research methodological tools. The main objective is to present a description and argumentation of the research methodology used by the Author so that readers can gain a deep and comprehensive understanding. Since this subheading contains a methodological description, it is best to present the description in this section systematically and structured. Of course, by emphasizing the discussion on operational aspects in the field and minimizing conceptual explanations or descriptions as much as possible.
Results and Discussion: This is a special section that focuses on presenting some important elements of a research article, starting from the description of field data, theoretical explanations, and theoretical analysis activities. That is why this section requires much more review than other sub-sections. In order to be systematic and structured, it is better to start the description by first presenting the research data, both field data and literature data. If necessary, use a specific sub-discussion pattern by paying attention to the focus or main problem of the research so that the process and activity of presenting the data become more patterned. After that, a special sub-heading will be added that describes the theoretical perspective used. Avoid excessive conceptual descriptions or definitions because it will make this section seem flat. Ultimately, the field data will be analyzed using a specific theoretical perspective as a knife or analytical tool to read and define the existing field data. In this section, the author needs to dialogue or connect the field data with the theoretical perspective used and present it as deeply and in detail as possible because it will make this section better and more interesting. Generally, this discussion section should reflect scientific rationalization activities, starting from the most basic, such as data presentation, to the most fundamental part, namely theoretical analysis and construction.
Conclusion: This section contains the main points or findings directly related to the research problem. Avoid presenting repetitive descriptions, which are even more fatal if they contain a summary of the explanations of the previous sub-subs. In principle, the conclusion contains genuinely new findings and represents answers to academic concerns and research questions. So that the description of the conclusion in this section is systematic and structured, it is better to present it in the form of groups or divisions. Finally, the weaknesses or shortcomings can be conveyed as recommendations or suggestions for further research.
Bibliography: The manuscript's reading material, reference, and data source must be listed in this section. Each manuscript must contain at least 60% primary data for data use. Library data sourced from books, journals, articles, and research publications is limited by year, namely the last 10 years. Writing references or citations uses the Chicago Manual of Style 17th edition model. Using citation tools or applications, Zotero or Mendeley is highly recommended.
